AIObox

About

Made by someone with too many AI tabs.

AIObox started as a fix for a daily annoyance: paying for several AI accounts and never knowing which one still had room. It grew into one place where every AI, every account and the browser work together, driven by you or by your own AI.

Who is AIObox for?

People who use Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Notion AI every day, often with more than one account: builders on several plans, freelancers and agencies with client accounts, Notion teams, and people who want their own AI to do real work on their computer.

What does it do today?

AIObox is an app for Mac and Windows. It keeps each account in its own browser profile, shows how much room each one has left, opens exactly the one you pick, runs one-click macros there, keeps your prompts one click away in every AI window and connects AkiMCP so your AI can reach your computer. When a chat nears its limit, AIObox hands it to another of your accounts that has room, in a new window that carries on the task. It is in beta: version 0.11.1, for AkiDev members.

Where is it going?

Toward one control layer for AI in the browser. It already names every window, puts an AIObox Panel inside every AI tab, lets windows pass work to each other and ships a guide that tells any AI how to work in them, so one AI chat can hand tasks to another. What is finished and what is still an idea is on the roadmap.

What does it not do?

It does not combine quotas, bypass provider limits or have a chat of its own. Each account still follows its provider's plan and terms. AIObox helps you see them, reach them and put them to work.

How does it relate to AkiMCP?

AkiMCP (@akinet/akimcp) is a separate app, started from AIObox or by you, that lets AI assistants on the web reach tools on your computer. AIObox installs or updates it, can create a Cloudflare tunnel that gives it a public address, and connects it to your accounts in one click once AkiMCP runs with a public address (that tunnel, Tailscale Funnel or PUBLIC_ORIGIN). You can use AIObox without it.

Who makes it?

AIObox is owned and managed by akitao.com. It is not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Notion, Google, Meta, Cloudflare, Zalo or ByteDance.
