Sound familiar?

Why do several AIs and accounts never work together?

Paying for more AI should mean more done. Usually it means more tabs, more sign-outs and more guessing.

  • You hit the limit mid-task

Claude says come back in three hours. One of your other accounts still has room. Which one?

    With AIObox

Before the limit hits, AIObox hands the chat to an account that has room: a new window, signed in, that picks up the task by itself, with AkiMCP running.

  • Accounts fight over one browser

Work, personal and client accounts keep signing each other out, or hide in Chrome profiles you can never find.

    With AIObox

Each account gets its own profile and window, signed in, side by side.

  • The same setup on every account

Adding one connector means the same ten clicks in every account of every provider.

    With AIObox

A macro does those clicks inside the provider's own page. One click per account.

  • Your AI is stuck in one tab

The AI in front of you cannot see your files, your other windows or the other AIs you pay for.

    With AIObox

Through AkiMCP it reads your files and runs the commands you approve, on your computer.

How it works

How does AIObox work?

  1. 1

    See which account has room

Every profile is a row, every provider a column. Claude and ChatGPT show their 5-hour and 7-day windows, Grok its tickets, Notion its AI credits per workspace. Colors climb from calm to red as an account fills up.

  2. 2

    Open exactly that account

Each account lives in its own browser profile, copied from the Chrome you are already signed in to. Click a cell and it opens in its own window, signed in, next to every other profile.

  3. 3

    Let it do the clicking

Macros are buttons that run inside the provider's own page: Connect AkiMCP for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Notion, Widen for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini and Notion, workspace switches, Model policy and Join workspaces for Notion. Each one says what it does behind an info button.

In one click

What if Claude on Work hits its limit?

Click Claude on Personal. It opens in that account's own window, already signed in. No signing out, no hunting for the right Chrome profile, no guessing.

Use cases

What can you do with AIObox?

Everything here is in the beta app today. When a card also needs something else, such as AkiMCP, the card says so.

For long work: it never stops at a limit

  • Automatic handoff to an account with room

When a chat reaches 87% of its limit, or the provider cuts off two replies in a row, AIObox saves the chat, picks another signed-in account with room, opens it in a new window where the old one stood and sends the task over. The new chat carries on; the old window closes once it is idle.

    Needs: AkiMCP

  • You stay in charge

AIObox reads the usage again itself before it moves anything. When it holds a handoff back, the panel shows Hand off now, so the last word is yours.

  • The new chat knows the task

It gets the old chat's handoff letter, or its last 10 messages, and the old chat is saved on your computer. The handoff shows on both windows with Stop, Retry and Close.

  • Same place, same name

The new window takes the old one's place and size, and a message sent to the old window's handle reaches the new one, so other chats never lose track of it.

For you: never stuck, never signed out

  • Never stall at a limit

Claude on Work hits its 5-hour limit. The dashboard already shows Personal at 12%. One click and you carry on there, signed in.

  • Every account side by side

Work, personal and every client open at once, each in its own window and profile. Nothing signs anything else out.

  • Run Notion workspaces like an admin

See AI credits per workspace, switch AI overage per workspace and join every workspace from a pasted list of invite links, from the page itself.

  • The same prompts in every AI

Keep your best prompts as files and search them from any AI window's panel. On Notion AI one click puts the prompt in the chat box, unsent; elsewhere it is copied.

For your AI: hands, eyes and a map

  • Give your AI hands on your computer

Connect AkiMCP and Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Notion AI on the web can read your files and run the commands you approve, on your own machine.

    Needs: AkiMCP

  • Connect twenty accounts in twenty clicks

Connect AkiMCP adds the connector inside each provider's page, checks it and records the result on the account. Not two hundred clicks.

Needs: AkiMCP with a public address

  • Reach your computer from anywhere

Create a Cloudflare tunnel and route a hostname from the Tunnels page, so an AI on the web can reach the AkiMCP on your computer.

    Needs: a Cloudflare account

  • Set up your AI's tools in one click

The Start page checks for a browser, Node.js, AkiMCP and cloudflared, shows the exact command and installs whatever is missing through Homebrew on a Mac or winget on Windows.

For a team of AIs: one chat runs the others

  • Point your AI at one exact tab

Every window and tab gets a handle like P3·W2 that is never given twice and stays the same after AIObox restarts. Tell your AI to read P3·W2 and it finds exactly that tab, not a guess.

    Needs: AkiMCP 3.0 or later

  • Hand a task to another AI chat

Your AI opens a fresh chat, sends the task to a Notion AI window and reads the answer when it lands. A draft you left in the box is never typed over.

    Needs: AkiMCP 3.0 or later

  • One rulebook for every AI

AIObox ships a short guide that tells any AI how to work in its windows: find its own window, name the others by handle, never touch a draft. It is public, so you can read exactly what your AI is told.

  • Windows that pass results along

Pages AIObox opens can pass data to each other by handle, so a macro in one AI window can hand its result to another.

AIObox Panel

What does AIObox show inside every AI tab?

A small panel on every provider window AIObox opens, custom providers included, shows which profile and account you are in, how much room it has left, your prompts and that provider's macros. Keep it as an icon, a one-line mini or the full panel; it remembers where you put it.

  • Usage right in the page, colored like the dashboard, with its own Refresh.
  • Your prompts one click away: on Notion AI the prompt goes into the chat box unsent, elsewhere it is copied.
  • Macros run in that window only, and a gear opens their settings in AIObox.
  • If AIObox is closed, the panel says so and keeps what it last knew.

The big picture

How does it all fit together?

You and your AI sit on top. AIObox holds the profiles, the macros and the names of every window. Every provider and every website sits underneath, signed in.

Diagram of how AIObox sits between you, your AI and every provider.

Your sign-ins, your computer

Why is it safe to give AIObox your sign-ins?

AIObox works with the accounts you already pay for, so it is built to keep them exactly where they are: on your computer, under your control.

  • Everything stays on your computer

Profile copies live in ~/.aki/cdp/profiles, usage readings and settings in ~/.aki/aiobox. During the beta the app sends nothing to aiobox.app.

  • Only what keeps you signed in

Cookies, site storage and extensions are copied. History, bookmarks and saved passwords are not.

  • Your original profile is left alone

It changes only when you press Sync and choose to write it: sign-in cookies move back after a backup, and Undo restores it.

  • No tricks with provider limits

Every account keeps its own limits under its provider's terms. AIObox shows where each one stands; it never pools or stretches quota.

Made for

Who is AIObox for?

  • People on several AI plans

You pay for more than one AI and switch all day. Every plan stays one click away.

  • Freelancers and agencies

Every client gets its own profile and accounts, kept apart and always signed in.

  • Notion teams

AI credits per workspace, and AI overage switched per workspace without digging through settings.

  • AI agent builders

Your AI reaches your files and commands through AkiMCP, under your rules. Window handles and a guide for AI agents are ready for one chat that drives the others.

Also in the box

What else is in AIObox?

  • Your windows come back

When AIObox quits it saves every profile's windows. Next time, one banner reopens them at the size and place you left.

  • Macros are files you own

Official macros ship with the app. Write your own in a provider's Settings or drop in a .js file; one with the same name as an official macro wins.

  • Know what each provider does

Each provider's Settings list what AIObox reads and runs there, and you can give it a one-line description of your own.

  • Processes in plain sight

Every Chrome AIObox runs, with its port, memory and uptime. One still open from an earlier run is picked up within seconds, and Stop asks Chrome to close before forcing it.

  • Any site as a provider

Add a custom provider by URL. AIObox fetches its icon, opens it in any profile and gives its windows the panel and macros of their own.

  • Keyboard first

Number keys 1 to 8 jump between Dashboard, Providers, Processes, AkiMCP, Tunnels, Prompts, Utilities and Settings.

  • Data moves you can undo

When AIObox reorganizes its folders, Utilities shows each move with Migrate and Undo. A profile in use is never touched.

  • A reset that keeps sign-ins

Factory reset clears settings and your own files, never your browser profiles or their sign-ins.

Straight answers

What does AIObox not do?

  • Macros click the provider's English labels, so each provider's interface must be set to English (US).
  • It does not pool or stretch your quota. It shows each account's limits and moves you, or a handed-off chat, to one of your accounts that has room.
  • It has no chat of its own. You and your AI work on each provider's own site, in its own window.
  • It runs on Mac and Windows. There is no Linux version yet.
  • One profile holds one account per provider. A second Claude or Notion account goes in its own profile.

FAQ

What do people ask first?

Is it safe to bring my Chrome sign-ins into AIObox?

AIObox copies only what keeps you signed in (cookies, site storage and extensions) into its own folder on your computer; history, bookmarks and saved passwords are not copied. Your original Chrome profile is written to only when you press Sync yourself and choose to write it: only sign-in cookies move, a backup is saved first, and Undo restores it.

Can my AI really control my browser?

Within the rules you set, yes. With AkiMCP connected, an AI chat can read files and run the commands you approve on your computer. With AkiMCP 3.0 or later, it can also find a window by its handle, open a fresh chat, send a task to a Notion AI window and read the answer.

Does AIObox send my chats or accounts anywhere?

No. Chats, sign-ins and usage stay on your computer. During the beta the app sends nothing to aiobox.app. Once paid use starts, it will ask you to sign in and report only how long it is open on each computer.

Does it get around provider limits?

No. Every account keeps its own limits under its provider's terms. AIObox shows where each one stands so you can pick an account that has room.

Which computer and browser do I need?

A Mac with Apple Silicon or Intel, or a Windows PC, and a Chrome, Edge or Brave signed in to the accounts you want to bring in. For your AI to work on your computer, add Node.js 22 or later and AkiMCP; cloudflared is optional, for tunnels. The Start page checks them all and installs what is missing through Homebrew on a Mac or winget on Windows.

Who can join the beta?

Members of the AkiDev developer group. The download page posts a one-time download code to the AkiDev Telegram group, and members type it in to download. To join the group, go to akidev.org.

What does AIObox cost?

Nothing during the beta. After that, 1 Energy (1,000 VND, $0.04) for every 10 minutes the app is open on a computer, paid from the Energy wallet shared across the akitao.com ecosystem. Unused Energy is refundable in full, any time.

What happens when my Energy runs out?

Nothing is charged during the beta. When paid use starts: AIObox will pause its own features when the 10 minutes you already paid for end. Your browser windows will stay open, nothing will be charged while it is paused, and topping up will let it carry on without a restart. The app will warn you when an hour is left and again at ten minutes.

What is AkiMCP?

AkiMCP is a separate tool that lets web AI chats such as Claude and ChatGPT read files and run approved commands on your own machine. AIObox installs, updates, starts and stops it from its AkiMCP page, or you run AkiMCP yourself. When AkiMCP runs with a public address (a Cloudflare tunnel, Tailscale Funnel or PUBLIC_ORIGIN), Connect AkiMCP adds it to an account in one click. AkiMCP is free and works without AIObox.
